  • Develop custom desktop business applications, websites, and forms for small businesses.
    • Coordinate with company representatives to understand their business and requirements to outline application or website features and functions.
    • Create preliminary layout or UI design (wireframe) to ensure that the features and design meets their requirements.

  • Developed custom business tools for in-house use.
    • Created a knowledge base programmed in C# over a MS Access database to search through a collection of past user issues and solutions to aid support in consistently and effectively providing fast and accurate solutions to customers.
    • Created a tool to produce multiple web pages at once using programmed templates and content from a CSV file, allowing temporary website pages to be created quickly, significantly reducing production time.
  • Software product development.
    • Development of a software application to allow user input for tax form W2C. This product was developed to have no dependencies on outside software packages by saving data to XML database files, creating high resolution image reproductions of IRS forms and simultaneously sending image and text to printer.
  • Use of video editor and text-to-voice software to create a series of tutorials for reducing customer support calls.

  • Team member involved in the development, support, and enhancement of interactive State and Municipal sales and use tax Electronic Tax Reporting software.
